The village of Elm Grove, WI, located in Waukesha County, 10 miles west of Milwaukee, is home to about 6,200 people. Incorporated in 1955 after breaking away from the larger town of Brookfield, Elm Grove first developed in the early 19th century as a fertile agricultural area. The village today is proud to retain much of its small-town charm, and in fact, it was named in 2014 as America’s best suburb by Business Insider. The boundaries of Elm Grove form an almost-perfect square, housing the neighborhoods of Indian Hills Estates, Marian Heights, and Shadow Lawn, among many others. Elm Grove Village Park is a popular place to enjoy the outdoors.
